The troop had a very successful trio of trips this weekend to Little Rocky Pond, Stratton Pond, and Camp Split Rock. I hope all 19 scouts that attend had a great time. Thank you to the nine adults that made these trips possible!
If you’re excited to experience backpacking on a future trip, you need to be at least Tenderfoot rank. Now’s the time to start working on those requirements to be ready for the next trip.

During patrol time today, make sure any troop tents and stoves are inspected and returned. Do not just place them on the shelves. They need to be inspected by the quartermaster and signed off. Patrols should make sure their patrol box is clean, dry, and complete before putting it away. Scouts can work on advancement after all troop and patrol equipment is cleaned and stored.
