Great work to scouts that sold popcorn over the weekend. The sales at Shaws were very strong and we’ll continue to mix in more days there in October. This weekend, we will sell popcorn and promote the Troop at the Horseshed Fair in Lancaster.
Total popcorn sales for the Troop are now $17,302. Our top 5 sellers have all passed $1000 in sales:

Our next camping trip is coming up in three weeks on October 24-25. We’re heading to the Troop’s campsite in Cook Conservation in Lancaster. This is a great campout for those of your with sports or other activities as you can arrive late or leave early if needed.
The Eagle Court of Honor for Ben S is scheduled on Sunday November 8th at 2pm in the Lancaster Town Hall. Please come out to celebrate this great achievement for Ben and Troop 1.
It may seem a long time away, but our Summer 2027 High Adventure trip to Summit Bechtel Reserve will be here before you know it. The next payment for Summit is due on October 15th. The payment is $1,000 and can be paid via check. Popcorn fundraising from this year can be used to offset the cost of this payment. We will provide updated credits in early October.
Patrol time today can be used for advancement. Take advantage of this time to plan out any rank you want to achieve at the December Court of Honor and start working towards it.
