Nolan Stocker earns Ad Altare Dei Award

We’d like to recognize and congratulate Nolan Stocker for earning the Ad Altare Dei Catholic Youth Award this season.Nolan

Pictured is Nolan and Bishop Robert McManus, where he received his Ad Altare Dei medal.  He wears that on his uniform, along with a purple knot symbolizing his Religious Emblem.  This award may be earned as a youth, or presented to an adult that is nominated.  Once earned as a youth, the knot may be displayed on the uniform from that time forward.  If a Scout earns the youth award and as an adult later is presented the adult award as well, both knots may be worn.

The purpose of the Ad Altare Dei ( To the Altar of God ) program is to help Catholic Youth of the Roman Rite develop a fully Christian way of life in the faith community.

The program is organized in chapters based on the seven sacraments.

The seven Sacraments are a primary means toward spiritual growth.
